GDPR
CleanPilot is built to support UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 — for the businesses that use it, and for the people whose data they manage.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erase your data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to legal retention requirements.
- Export your data in a portable format.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
Exercising these rights
If you're a CleanPilot account owner, you can export or permanently delete your business's data at any time from account settings — no need to wait on a request. If you're a client of a business that uses CleanPilot rather than an account holder yourself, that business is the data controller for your information; contact them directly, or email hello@cleanpilot.uk and we'll help route the request.
Data controller vs. processor
For a business's own account and billing data, CleanPilot Ltd is the data controller. For the client, booking, and staff data a business enters into the platform to run its own operations, that business is the controller and CleanPilot acts as processor on its behalf.
International transfers
Some of our service providers (payments, AI features, messaging) may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, it's covered by their own GDPR-compliant safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
